Each year 17 million new cases of Attention Deficit Disorder are diagnosed in children. Spending on behavioral medications jumped to $6.4 million in 2003 - up from $3.6 million in 2000. (Dr. Mercola's website). Children are often labeled on the basis of a five minute interview. Then drugs (Ritalin or Dexedrine) are given to help children "learn better", but the drugs just calm them down and often decrease their creativity. The side effects of these medications include: nausea, headaches, stomach aches, facial tics, depression and weight loss. Medications may contain lead and mercury. So, there is a price paid. In addition, twice as many adults are on ADHD medications than in the year 2000 and the number keeps rising. ADD and ADHD are often used interchangeably but there are subtle differences. There are some similarities between Autism, ADHD, Allergies and Asthma. They each share imbalances in the immune system, gastrointestinal system and the nervous system (neurotransmitters). Louise Swartswalter will go over a step by step protocol to address these imbalances, discuss supplementation and solutions that work! Louise taught special education for years and then became like the children she taught after having 12 mercury amalgam fillings removed in one day. She experienced healing her own ADHD firsthand and can share insights that cannot be read in any book. Louise is a Naturopathic Doctor, Certified Biofeedback Specialist and Certified Academic Language Therapist. and Certified Natural Health Professional. She has been using the EPFX/SCIO for three years in her practice, Albuquerque Natural Health Center, LLC with excellent success. Louise works with ADD/ADHD children and their families because her first career was teaching special education and providing private therapy to dyslexic students. Louise also works with clients young and old who are dealing with anxiety, chronic fatigue, allergies, cancer, fibromyalgia, and depression and other stressors and imbalances. The use of energy work to move clients through past traumas and maximize the sessions. My training in Hanna Kroeger's work compliments the SCIO work. I look forward to working and sharing my experience with you! *Learn how to understand ADD/ADHD. *Learn "The intake" (What do you do to make the parent and child feel welcome, asking pertinent questions). *Learn how to set up a child friendly environment. *Learn how to use listening skills, play therapy observations, build self- esteem. *Learn about the healing plan that works; comprehensive, synergistic and Individualized. *Learn the importance of addressing allergies, nutritional deficiencies, and detoxification. *Learn the EPFX Protocol.
